ACE Wraps Up Transformative Year with a Fresh List of Pirate Site Targets
In 2024, the Alliance for Creativity and Entertainment (ACE) achieved significant milestones in combating digital piracy. A notable success was the dismantling of the Fmovies piracy network, which included popular sites like Aniwave, Soap2dayx2, Zoroxtv, Fboxz, Animesuge, and Cinezone. These platforms collectively attracted billions of visits annually. The operation, conducted in collaboration with Vietnamese authorities, led to the prosecution of the alleged mastermind behind Fmovies.
Throughout the year, ACE expanded its team with key hires, including former FBI officials and legal experts, to strengthen its global content protection efforts. The organization successfully shut down numerous piracy operations, including football streaming services, IPTV sellers, and major anime sites like Animeflix and Animefenix. In total, hundreds of domains were seized or shut down over the past twelve months.
Looking ahead to 2025, ACE has already identified new targets. Just before Christmas, the organization filed DMCA subpoenas to obtain information on several domain names associated with pirate streaming sites, such as Anitaku, Gimy, Aniworld, and Faselhds, some of which attract millions of monthly visits.
