Dutch regulator KSA proposes gambling interpol to tackle unlicensed operators
The Kansspelautoriteit (KSA), the Dutch gambling regulator, has called for the creation of a global enforcement network—dubbed a “gambling Interpol”—to coordinate international efforts against unlicensed online gambling operators. The regulator cited the decline of the legal market’s share below 50% in the Netherlands and the ability of unlicensed operators to evade national jurisdiction by shifting domains and using aggressive marketing tactics.
