The Michigan Gaming Control targets six more sites in its crackdown on illegal gambling
Michigan’s Gaming Control Board (MGCB) has intensified its crackdown on illegal online gambling by ordering six more unlicensed casino operators to stop serving Michigan residents. The targeted sites—identified in the latest enforcement round—include Fortune Horizon Casino, Goat Spins Casino, High Roller Casino, Slots.lv, True Fortune Casino, and Vegas Gems Casino.
MGCB asserts that these operators were violating several state laws, including the Lawful Internet Gaming Act, the Michigan Gaming Control & Revenue Act, and parts of the Michigan Penal Code. The board warned that these illegal sites lack consumer protections like fair play safeguards, recourse in case of fraud, or regulatory oversight—leaving users exposed to risk.
The cease-and-desist orders demand that the operators immediately cease gambling services to Michigan users. If noncompliance occurs, the MGCB may escalate with further legal action involving the Michigan Attorney General. The MGCB also reminded the public to use only licensed gambling platforms and report suspicious sites.
