UEFA Partners with Alliance for Creativity and Entertainment to Enhance Global Anti-Piracy Strategy
UEFA has become the first exclusive sports-rights holder to join Alliance for Creativity and Entertainment (ACE), the global anti-piracy coalition led by the Motion Picture Association.
Through this partnership, UEFA will participate in ACE’s Live Tier, enabling real-time intelligence-sharing and coordinated enforcement with law-enforcement and other partners to dismantle illegal live-streaming and piracy operations affecting sports content worldwide.
UEFA highlights that protecting broadcast rights is vital for the sustainability of football—from professional competitions to grassroots programmes—while ACE emphasises the move strengthens its efforts to defend sports content across the globe.
