World's largest sports piracy site shut down by police
The world’s largest sports piracy website, Streameast, has been shut down in a global operation led by the Alliance for Creativity and Entertainment (ACE) in coordination with Egyptian police. The site, which facilitated illegal streaming of live sports, had garnered over 1.6 billion visits in the past year, making its takedown a significant blow to sports piracy operations.
